Nothing too Big

"What is impossible with man is possible with God"

-Luke 18:27

"Impossible is where God starts. Miracles are what He does" - Christine Caine

If you have been following me closely on Instagram or Facebook for a while, then you know that I have been dealing with health issues that have prevented me from eating the way I would like and working out. If you also know me...you know that this is one of the hardest things I've ever been through..not just physically, but also mentally. Fitness is such a huge part of my life...heck...my business is fitness. So you can imagine that this situation seems impossible to me.

But I'm here to tell you that no matter what you are going through, no matter what season of life you are currently in....there is nothing too big for our God.

Think about all the miracles in the Bible.

Miracles of healing, answered prayers for a child, a spouse, a new life. Miracles are what He does.

And I believe that He is at work with miracles in all of our lives as we speak.

It doesn't matter what you are facing right now. Financial struggle, infertility, divorce, job stress, change, doubt....HES GOT THIS.

This verse in Luke is such a turning stone, its such a powerful reminder of HIs strength.

Whatever your life looks like right now, take hold of this verse, and other verses of truth and believe the power it has over your circumstance.

God wants to bless you. Abundantly, and running over. But for him to reveal these things to you, you have to have complete confidence in his ability to lead you out of your current circumstance. You just have to.

Our God is a Big God. He is a strong God. He is God who wants to pour out grace into your life. He wants to heal you. But its not enough if you just choose to believe it, you have to live out your life like he's already healed you. You have to live like he's already answered that prayer you are screaming out to Him. You have to live like he's as Big as He is.

Remember that song Giants Fall by Francesca Battistelli? The lyrics go like this:

Everyone's telling you To let go of what you're holding to It's too late, too far You're too small, it's too hard Throwing water on that spark Living deep inside your heart With oceans of reasons The things you're not seeing But oh, maybe they don't Know what you know That you're not alone

Don't you be afraid Of giants in your way With God you know that anything's possible So step into the fight He's right there by your side The stones inside your hand might be too small But watch the giants fall

Those words get to me every single time that I hear them driving in my car. Sometimes they hit me so hard I have to pull on the side of the road and just scream them at the top of lungs like weirdo because I just resonate with the words SO much.

We all face giants. Whatever your giant is, you have the power to watch it fall. But you see, this story isn't just about a teenage boy who got lucky and killed a giant that was 10x bigger than him by coincidence. This story shows that your strength is nothing compared to Our Gods. On the outside looking in, people may see your life or your circumstance as one that you just can't handle or defeat on your own...but just as the song says...they don't know that you have a secret weapon that defeats even the biggest giants.

"So step into the fight, he's right there by your side". We may be small, but theres nothing too big for Him.

Reflect on todays verse:

"What is impossible with man is possible with God"

-Luke 18:27

1. What are some of the giants you face today? What things have a bind on you heart that keep you from living our your potential? Write them out and declare victory over them. Starting today, put more of your trust in God in these areas. Ask the Spirit to reveal in your heart any areas you need victory in.

2. How is God speaking to you through this verse? What stands out to you the most?

3. Was there a lesson in this passage? How does it pertain to your life right now?

4. How do you feel God is using this passage to you move and grow you?

5. What are some steps you can take this week to embrace, and live out this truth?

Father,

Impossible is where you start, and I am so thankful for the miracles you perform. Right now in my life ________ seems impossible, but today I declare victory over this giant. Nothing is to big for you Lord Jesus. When I need to step into the fight, help me to remember that you are right by my side. Because I have the power of Jesus Christ within me, I know that the things of this world cannot defeat me. I have an arsenal of weapons within Your Word that protect me and help me knock down the walls to block my way to victory in You.

Amen
